impressive work! the whole cathedral series. i'm glad having found this page some time ago... by the way, happy new year 2008! greetings from germany basti:-) p.s.: what about another famous europe member: notre dame de paris (early gothic)? sagrada familia = new-catalan, duomo di milano = gothic, koelner dom = also gothic, santa maria del fiore = renaissance, cathedral of st. basil = russian byzantine.
muito bommmmmmmmm
personally! i think its plain and somewhat BORING dull. i have T.O.T.T.A.L.L.Y seen better on this sit!
Vlad-maybe you should do the large one in the city of volterra. Happy 2008!
luv your desktops... but one hint to this one: have a look at google maps (or somewhere else) where cologne is located - it's not in france like on your map ;-)
I have visited this cathedral on a trip with my fellow musicians - an astounding and beautiful cathedral, and a beautiful wallpaper to go with it.
Kölner Dom as it's best! Please more of them!
This is a beautiful wallpaper of one of the most astonishing cathedrals in the world. I visited it last year but I found out after that it was built for over 600 years. From www.colognecathedral.net - Building commenced in 1248 but it was finished in 1880 only. A trully remarkable cathedral, once it was the tallest building in the world!
